The Executive Summary Format

The completed document for Real Estate Development Projects must be in PDF format and should be between 8-30 pages.

 

Your Executive Summary must include:

 

Project Name:

Principal(s):

Company Name:

Project Location:

Total Asking Amount (total for all phases; we need the big picture) expressed in
U.S. Dollars:

Overview – An introduction to the project (1 page):

  • Describe your project as clearly and concisely as possible, leaving no room for confusion. If the project is multifaceted, mention that here. 

  • Share details later within “The Project” section of the Executive Summary.  

  • Ask for the amount of funding that you need to successfully complete Phase 1 either in the very first paragraph (and bold/highlight) or at the very end of the Overview as a stand-alone sentence.

 

The Project - The details of your project: 

  • Explain the progression of your project from the first phase through to the final phase.

  • Amount of funds you have already invested in the project:

  • USE OF PROCEEDS -Explain how the advanced sum will be used: 

  • What form of collateral are you offering?

 

Highlight the following:

  • Describe your project’s strengths in the market.

  • Briefly mention any challenges; how you have or will overcome them.

  • Include sitemaps and pertinent graphic elements. (If you prefer to share the images within the Supporting Documents category, that is equally acceptable.)

 

Company Profile: 

  • List the company location, incorporation date, scope of operations. 

  • Highlight any strengths or relevant accomplishments.

 

Principal Profile:

Leader(s) of the company; please provide the principals' profiles here. 

 

Team Profile:

The cornerstone of a successful project is the strength of the team. List each team member’s credentials, accomplishments, and experience. The team may consist of legal counsel, accountants, board members, or other pertinent parties. (Also include CEO, CFO, COO if not already listed as principals.)

 

Pro Forma:

Display a minimum of 5 years projections.

 

Supporting Documents:

  • Licenses and Permits

  • Endorsed Letters of Intent, Approvals, Government Support, MOU’s, (any documentation that provides ample proof of support for the project.)
